What’s that recipe that always reminds you of your childhood?
For me it’s this 4 LAYER BEAN DIP that my mother used to make for all SUMMER parties or days by the dock at cottage 🌞
🚨 Perfect for this upcoming August long weekend and took me literally 3 minutes🚨
But of course, I had to ‘Alishafy’ it, and it turned out SO good and was definitely more satiating than the original recipe with the added protein swapping sour cream for siggisdairy Icelandic yoghurt! 🤭
It was the perfect bait and switch!!! 😏🤫
QUICK & HEALTHY 4 LAYER BEAN DIP
(GF, NF, V)
-1 can refried black beans
-500 g store-bought guacamole OR (2 avocados, 1 jalapeño, juice of 1 lime, S&P, 2 cloves garlic, handful cilantro blended together until smooth)
-1/2 a tub siggiscanada Icelandic yoghurt
-250 grams store-bought salsa (or 1 chopped and deseeded tomato, 1 minced garlic clove, 1/2 chopped red onion, a squeeze of lime juice, and 1 tbsp chopped cilantro mixed together)
-cilantro to top 🌱
– beanfieldssnacks black bean tortilla chips to dip
1. In a clear dish, pour the black beans as your base and spread evenly into all corners. Add the guacamole and do the same so that it is level. Next spoon in the siggisdairy and make sure that it completely covers the avocado in a thick layer. The salsa should be a thin layer on top!
2. DIP AWAY with your fave tortilla chips! I LOVE beanfieldssnacks black bean chips!
