🌞 Summer Snacker right here 🌱 with these Canapés Caprese Bites and a honey balsamic reduction 🇮🇹
I’ve been craving hosting a dinner party for, like, literally forever so I’m playing make believe with my family whipping up appetisers with a ‘wine pairing’ before dinner 🤪
These are so cute but simple to make (and obviously so delicious) with all fresh ingredients creating a blast of flavour all in one mouthful! They would totally be perfect for a party because they are one bite, dainty, and won’t dirty your guests fingers as they socialise 🥰
First off, either buy a premade balsamic glaze from the store OR be extra and combine 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar with 3 tbsp honey in a pan. Bring to a bubble and reduce to a simmer, cooking for about 15 minutes until the mixture reduces significantly and begins to become thickened (as it cools it will become even thicker).
Meanwhile, for the bites you need is cherry vine tomatoes, bocconcini, and fresh basil from the garden layered on a toothpick. Line up on a tray and sprinkle flakey salt and fresh grated pepper on top. Drizzle the balsalmic glaze and some high quality EVOO 👌🏻
Literal perfection served with Prosecco, red wine or a nice birra👏🏻
