Herby Halloumi Fries! Need I say more to sell you on this? They are SO good and seriously delicious. Plus, halloumi is full of protein so it’s healthy…ish! 🥳🥳🥳
Herby Halloumi Fries
(GF, Ve, NF)
-1 pack of halloumi, cut into strips **
You can either use a pre herbed halloumi, or toss/marinate the halloumi in some dried thyme, oregano, and garlic
-1 egg, whisked
-1/2 cup gluten free breadcrumbs (I used panerisofoods)
1. Preheat oven to 180C. Have the whisked egg in one bowl, and the breadcrumbs ready in another.
2. Take a halloumi stick, roll it in the whisked egg, and then place in the breadcrumbs, coating generously.
3. Place the coated halloumi sticks on a lined baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes or until slightly browned and enlarged.
ENJOY with aioli, ketchup or your fave sauce 🥰
